I would like to get more info on these hearing aids

I have a pair of hearig aids which I find not too good and so do not wear them

I use wireless head phones for TV but need some thing for other situations

Have thought of getting a wireless listening device, these require ear buds

Do not know what sort of hearing loss I have exept that it is so bad, I have begun ignoring conversation with some people simply because I get fed up with asking them to repeat what they say

I completely agree with the author of this article. I have worn "Personal Programmable" hearing aids purchased from HearSource.com, for some time now and I am a very satisfied consumer.

First, I saved over $3,000 on the initial purchase. And, I do the adjustments when and how I want. Not according to anyone else's schedule or interpretation of my attempted hearing description.

I have worn other professionally fit hearing aids. Three sets. I was never as satisfied with any of them as I have been with these personal programmable hearing aids. Software is pretty straight forward. The hearsource people helped initially with adjustments remotely using my internet connected home computer. I am able to do the adjustments myself as I have become more familiar with the system.

I highly recommend this type of hearing aid to anyone who is computer literate.

Initial cost for the entire system was $1,990. Included two hearing aids, programmer, software, cords, batteries, and instruction manual.
